Speed endurance session – ladder intervals

Our speed endurance is based on using interval based training to improve your pace, technique and running endurance. We use defined routes with regrouping during recovery periods to ensure each of the training groups stay together.
Group 1 – use a route of about 5-5.5 miles. Suitable for runners who complete 5k in over 28 minutes/10k in over 59 minutes.
Group 2 – use a route of about 6-7 miles. Suitable for runners who complete 5k in under 28 minutes/10k in under 59 minutes.
Group 1 – 3x1min/1 min, 3x2min/1 min, 3x3min/1.5 min, 3×4 min/2 min
Group 2 – 5×1 min/1min, 4x2min/1 min, 3x3min/1.5 mins, 3×4 min/2min
