10k midweek league 2017 – we are promoted!
What a series of races! In our debut season in the Scott’s 10k midweek league we finished in second place in our division in our debut season and have been promoted to Division 2 for the 2018 season! This is an incredible achievement given we only started in 2013. Over 40 different Striders supported our campaign and we would like to thank each and every one of you for running for the club. Whilst each individual produces a race result in their own right, it is the power of the team overall that can have such a dramatic effect on the result. You all showed a huge team spirit and the ethos that this club has become so proud of.
Here are the results from all the four races in the series.
Overall division standings after the 4 scoring races.
The final fixture is at Welwyn Garden City (mob match) 13/7/2017 and includes the presentations.
